Tired of "You request can not be completed because this file is not the right format" in PhotoShop? Use a DDS Convert! Yay! Woo! It makes the DDS files JPEGs, PNGs, PSDs, BMPs, or .tga files. It can easily take over 500 files, and convert them in under 30 seconds. Also makes a backup file.

Just make sure you don't use lossy formats when converting, dds is compressed enough already

What is the use of DDS Converter? So can we mod the all the images in Warrock? Because only .tga are the only one that i can mod. Will modifying .dds files in warrock possible now?

DDS files have always been editable, at least in the international WR. They're nothing more than lossy compressed image / surface files or something.

For those unwilling to pirate photoshop, I've never had issues with using paint.net, downloaded at getpaint.net.

i used to mod with paint.net, it was quite faster, but then paint.net crashed, and unistalled itself... and it said it was still there. so, i now use photoshop to edit the files. ;p

GIMP 2.6 + Photoshop <3

I started out with GIMP 2.6 and moved onto Photoshop. I still prefer GIMP over Photoshop because it's more user friendly let alone free and you can download plug-ins for free and open Photoshop files/brushes with it.. So really.. IMO GIMP > Photoshop
