Hey guys,I just wanted you to know I'm quitting crossfire!
I know that alot doesn't care but still I had to say this,because I'am really unhappy with the game now
it's really shitty now with massive hacks wave.I think that everybody should quit crossfire now because its getting unplayable.

ty! i might be returning just to make a tutorial,but i have version.ini problems so we will see

It happens all the time to me... try going to C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/Etc./ and delete all files in that folder. if it doesn't help anything try restoring a previous and working version at the time you got it, of the version.ini.(if you don't know how to use the restore function let me know so i can help you with detailed info.) Or, i can upload here for you but i don't think it will work, but sometimes it does... or, i can copy and paste the text inside the version.ini file and you put it in yours, check the 'read only' box and then try it. There's a lot of solutions for this problem, some work for some people others work for other people

But normaly, when you get that error, you have a lot of other errors like '.....is changed'. If that's the case i'd advice you to restore the whole crossfire folder. Re-installing it or turning off the anti-virus/firewall won't change nothing.
