What is a trainer?

i'm kinda new to the game hacking world so please don't laugh (well you can if you want). what exactly is a trainer?

a trainer is a program made by a coder that lets you hack.
it's kinda like a menu...sorta...

And they're mainly made with Cheat Engine, and use in-game values and either freeze or change them to alter gameplay.

Its a bundle or a single of hacks put on a program and either cercent hotkeys trigger hacks on/off of a program.

A trainer is usually made for Flash games, online flash games, and single player games, never acutally seen one for downloaded mmo. Trainers for Flash, or online flash games very often have the actually game window implanted into the client (trainer). Also trainers have hacks built into of course for you to use, set up with organized menu's which are often pull down menus.
