Alright everyone i have talked with obama and we have decided to make a thread where everyone can post there skins at. This way to Combat Arms section isn't just full of skins (i know a lot of you like to make them).

So i will give everyone about 30-45 minutes to resubmit your skins in this thread. After the time is up i will then start closing all the combat arms ski threads.

Combat Arms can detect when you are using an outdated launcher (base model).
if we want all of our mods to continue working, we have to update them after each patch (replace the bitmaps on the new launcher).
simply using the ones we have created will not work now. we have to remake them using the new CA launcher...just so you all know.

This one has buttons. Its awesome, sorta. I'm still improving them. Untill whitten makes something more 1337 I'm going to tinker with this or go to sleep...

Instructions:
Replace the .exe included in combat arms. Since they are named diff and ackwardly, they shouldn't replace ur normal CA starter. Just create a short cut for the .exe you downloaded and put it on your desktop. If you want it gone, just delete the short cut and my skinned .exe.

I've been working on your orange request for like 1 hr (sorta...) so I hope you like it. If you don't like it just tell me what to fix. Then I'll post it up.

BTW the pink is just supposed to be transparent, I put my combat arms window right over resource tuner. Anyway jsut ignore the pink part.

BTW If anyone wants to know how to do this in resource tuner (I do it in resource tuner since I've always like that company's products and I already have it on my computer) you can just ask me, I'll upload a vid on utube

Oh and give feed back. Last time my file got download 50 times and only 4 thx -.-x atleast thank me? Lol jk its not required. Though any ideas and feed back could be cool. If you would like another color scheme for a already exsisting skin, I can mod it, of course I would give credit

I just made yet another CA launcher skin. this one is based off of the buttons on the MPGH site.

Just so you guys know, the buttons are interactive. they change when you scroll over them.

put the two files in the zip in your combat arms folder. if asked, choose move and replace.

run ca.
if you want to revert back to original, delete combatarms.exe, and rename combatarms_original.exe to combatarms.exe.

Hey guys, i made a new Launcher skin a little while ago, but when dave restored the database it got lost in translation (or a mod deleted it, i dont know)
this one is based off of windows 7.

if asked, choose 'Copy and Replace'

i included the original (unskinned) Combatarms.exe, if you want to revert back to it, just delete the skinned one, and rename 'CombatArms_Original.exe' to 'CombatArms.exe'

Alright here are my 2 OS skins.

Windows XP:

Virus Scan: Virustotal. MD5: cceecdee4d474377a4e2f5c4c68958b0

Instructions:
1. Put the CombatArms_original.exe in your CA folder and just remove CombatArms.exe and put it in a different folder. (just incase you dont want to use mine)
2. Then make a shortcut to the new one and put it on your desktop and delete the old one. (right-click to make shortcut)
3. And now you just click on the new shortcut and enjoy the view for a few seconds...

Ok you know the launcher you use to play CA right? Well the SKIN of it is the layer of colors and pictures you see on it, not to mention the buttons and text. The skin of the CA launcher consists of those things and people are able to change the look of it and make their own custom ones.

2. Click Open file location or Find Target.

3. Find Combat Arms.exe, and remove it to a new folder

4. Extract my CombatArms.exe from CA Clear Skin.rar to desktop

5. Put my CombatArms.exe into the Combat Arms Folder...

Hello everybody. its corndog5595 here with another skin release!
this one is called clear glass. the skin is mostly see through. theres nothing too complicated about it. standard buttons and stuff (ima make those better later).
CREDS TO WHITTEN FOR FIGURING OUT HOW TO MAKE IT CLEAR. (we both figured it out at the same time, but w/e)
I made a few, each had different colors for the outline part, and words.
you can choose which one you would rather have depending on what your desktop walpaper is (some colors may blend in with your wallpaper).
to move it around you have to click and drag on the boarder.

TO USE:
-extract all of the files to a folder.
-pick which one you want to use depending on what color your desktop wallpaper is.
-copy it to your combat arms folder
-put the shortcut somewhere on your desktop
-Run CA
-if you dont like the color you have chose, choose a different one.
-each color has its own shortcut...make sure they are matching.

if anyone wants to make their skin a transparent one.
use magic pink(rgb) 255, 0, 255.
this is the only way to make a bitmap have transparent features.
