How do i inject superknife mod..

Hey I just downloaded a knife mod but i've never used a mod before, how do i inject it? sorry for the dumb question just need to know. i'll thanks for any help

EDIT: i replaced it and no knife comes up in game. i click and there's no knife..what do i do?
