How to launch Minecraft with more ram. [NOOB FRIENDLY] [ANY VERSION]

Here i will teach you how to launch minecraft with more ram. This tutorial is for windows, mac version may be released later.
MINECRAFT 1.6 LAUNCHER HAS THIS AS A FEATURE UNDER EDIT PROFILE
This DOES WORK for 1.6, but it is not necessary.

First of all, create a txt file by right clicking on you desktop>new>textdocument
Name it whatever you want. Inside it copy paste this:

@ECHO "Starting with more RAM!"
javaw -Xmx4096m -jar "H:\Minecraft\minecraft.exe

Replace H:\Minecraft\minecraft.exe with your minecraft.exe directory. You can find this by right clicking your minecraft.exe>properties then under file placement it says something like H:\Minecraft\minecraft.exe. Replace mine with what yours says

What you should have where i have -Xmx4096m depends on your RAM amount, to find out how much ram you have, right click your task bar, and
click on task manager. Inside task manager click on performance, under performance it should say "Physical memory" Or something similar
Look at the "total" one. Follow the form below to know how much ram to choose.

It looks like this: Mine is in norwegian, so it might be confusing

If your total says 4000 or more, you type -Xmx2048m
If your total says 8000 or more, you type -Xmx4096m
If your total says 16000 or more, you can still type -Xmx4096m as 4gb is more than enough.

Then go to file>save as>minecraft.bat
Wherever you created the txt file you will now have a .bat file named minecraft.bat, launch this, and wait a few seconds, your game will launch like normal, but with more ram. When the launcher has opened, you may close the CMD window, and log in as usual.
