    Why does this happen and how do i get around it?

    I'm trying to see the code for a mod i downloaded for gta iv. It is a dll file, and when i open it up with notepad it just shows weird symbols. For example:

    Please help, me, i am a total newb to code/programming and would like to know how to open files like this properly.

    LoL, You cannot decompile a DLL by opening it using notepad...??

    You can only decompile a DLL if it is coded in Visual Basic or C#
