Well, should record a video file in some folder in your computer.
Be sure to have the latest version.

run as admin so it works in game. also try just running cf again. if not. delete cf and redownload and install

I would say to you reinstall it, but before install again the latest version, run CCleaner and Install it.

Check your AV configuration relating with Internet, and try CCleaner like I said.
