Welcome to the official MPGH CF Black Market FAQ thread. This thread is for any questions you have about the Black Market. Comment in this thread about anything you think needs changing or if there's a certain question you want added. Credits will be given to everyone that contributes in this thread.
Q: What is the Black Market?
A: The Black Market is a 'shop' in Cross Fire where you can win special guns through crates. You spin a crate, and there will be different items, including the special gun that is included in each crate. Basically a lottery.
Q: What kinds of crates are there?
A: There are two kinds of crates; GP and ZP. GP Crates are crates that require GP, and ZP crates are crates that require ZP. You can't buy GP Crates with ZP, and you can't buy ZP crates with GP. They're both separate currencies.
Q: What is the difference between GP and ZP crates?
A: Once again, GP and ZP crates require different currencies for purchase. ZP crates tend to have better items than GP Crates.
Q: What is the cost of each crate?
A: Commonly, it is 2,000 GP for a GP Crate, and 1,000 ZP for a ZP crate. Sometimes though, there can be crates that cost more. An example would be the MG3 ZP Crate gun. It costs 1,300ZP, possibly because it's available for a limited time only (get it while you can!).
Q: What other kinds of items could you win in crates?
A: Aside from the main crate gun, you can get sprays, melee weapons, name tags, coupons, and other guns. Each crate shows which items you can win on the front page of the Black Market weapon.
Q: What's the probability of winning the main crate gun?
A: Exact probability is unknown, however the probability is very low. Meaning chances to win a crate gun are not so great.
Q: Is there any 'trick' or 'exploit' into winning a GP/ZP gun?
A: No, there is no trick for winning a gun. It's like a lottery; it's strictly luck based. There's no special place on the wheel where you can win certain items. It's all based on luck. Don't believe in any tricks your friends tell you, because it's all false.

Q: I just bought 100 crates and I still didn't win anything. Will buying more crates increase my chances of winning a weapon?
A: No. The probability of each crate is the same. So you won't be getting any increased chance of winning. You'll just get more attempts to win that weapon.
Q: Is it true that ZP crates have a better chance at winning the main crate gun over GP crates?
A: Maybe or maybe not. A lot of people claimed that ZP Crates has an increased chance of winning a weapon. As far as I know, ZP crates just have better side items and better crate guns. There's nothing said about the chances being higher or lower.
Q: Event Crates! What are those?
A: Whenever there is a patch or a big event, these 'event' crates usually come out. They're special, limited time only crates. Get them while you can!
Q: Holiday Crates! What are those?
A: Crates based off holidays and/or special days. For example, Halloween - during Halloween time, weapons like AK-47 Halloween or M4A1 Halloween will be released for a limited time. Weapons are usually ZP Crate guns. After a few weeks since the event has ended, the guns are usually removed from the Black Market.
Q: What are coupons?
A: Coupons is a certain item you can get from crates. If you collect a certain amount of coupons, you can trade them in to obtain special weapons. A list of available coupon weapons/items and how many coupons you need for them are listed right below after the FAQ is finished.
Q: What's a fast way of obtaining coupons?
A: It is said by a lot of people that ZP crates give more coupons than GP crates. So maybe, maybe not. From what I've tested, I certainly do get more coupons from ZP Crates than GP Crates.
Q: I regret buying my coupon weapon...
A: If you want to get your coupons refunded, contact Cross Fire support within 48 hours of the coupon weapon purchase. Contact them via Support Ticket. The proper category path you need to go through is: Crossfire > Technical Support or Complaints.
