Discontinuing the #support channel on the MPGH IRC
Only those on the MPGH Staff, or senior members(registered 2006-) can discuss here.

It has come to my attention that Imsohoooood and Diisasta aren't managing the #support channel the way they should be. Infact, the channel has no support users in the channel, and I commonly find users asking for help in the #MPGH channel. When we ask them to go to the #support channel, they claim there is no one there willing to answer their questions. It is not my job to support these users, even though I do most of the time. My point is, you can't redirect the users to your supporting channel, if it does not help them resolve their issues. I know it's annoying to be asked the same stupid repetative questions, but you have to deal with it. This may involve removing the announcement on the front page claiming users can be helped by joining this channel.

I am never on IRC, but I can try and get on just to help a few people here and there.

what types of questions do they ask? I'm assuming VIP questions..


Edit: I'm not sure how I can even help with VIP questions since I dont have VIP myself.

RJ should help since he gets free VIP anyways.

I know i am not MPGH Staff or a senior member, so this post will be deleted shortly.
But i would just like to say i agree with you 100%.
Random times when I'm on i will find myself who's just a normal member having to help members with their technical issues. Either #Support should be discontinued, or Diisasta, and Imsohooood should get in #support and help.
Nothing against them, its just the truth.
