There are different ways of obtaining keys, note these properly aren't the ways people on mpgh obtain their keys.

There are gambling with items,
trading games/items for keys,

and some simple use it as a way of converting money, like buy keys with paypal, but accept BTC/LTC/Cryptocoins as a way of converting the money without having to deal with huge fees and such.

The idea of this simply is that on the steam community market it's sold for 2.4 "mostly" and it drops to like 2.1 lowest and raises to 2.5 as highest

Now the important point is that the steam wallet money is much cheaper than the real life money "paypal and stuff" because you can't take off the money from your steam wallet .. so you can like fund your steam with like 100$ for just 85-90 Paypal dollars ! That's why the keys are a bit cheaper ,

The very important thing is , on steam's market valve takes off fees on each sold item , so if you pay like 2.4 $ to someone to buy a key , he'll only receive around ~2.1$ only !
