This isn't going to be a re-make of DBZ, it's going to be new content, that takes place after the Buu Saga.

Akira Toriyama is actually going to be writing it this time, so hopefully it won't be bad like GT, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Idd was confirmed like 2 days after the movie release. it was at the end of some trailer/special about the latest movie. Also saw this image on Sankaku-complex.
