Installing visual studio -- need help, would appreciate.
I had Visual Studio installed on my PC once before, but then removed it by deleting the files out of program files. I'm trying to re install it now and i'm getting this everytime, i did everything i would think to do but still no change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, my Skype is: xxfrequentxx

thanks for time.
Well, seems like Visual Studio is successfully installed, but just some Features aren't. If you don't need the failed Features, just continue with the Setup.

Else, install the Specific Features manually or completely Re-Install Visual Studio.

Try using Visual Basic 2010 Express (Best Visual Basic in my Opinion). Else i'll see how i can help you with this problem.

Edit: Just read you have it already. Also, since the main Visual Studio is successfully installed, why can you not find it then? Or why do you need these extra features?

it's not launching. comes up with different errors it's all f'ed up... pfft.
If you don't have any important programs uninstall Visual Basic Completely (there should be an advanced option when uninstalling to get rid of it and all of its components).

Or Try installing all the packages that failed separately
Interesting. I also have this problem in VB, but it gets f'ed up from the installation immediately, so I can't even install it. It will always do this pattern:

> Package failed > retry downloading component > go back to previous dialogue box > try same component >

I don't even know what to do.

Some people have recommended that I find and try portable VBs though. Has anyone done that?
It's the same like me with "Visual Studio 2013 for Windows Desktop", I have tried to install it ∞ times, didn't work.
I have now "Visual Studio 2013 Community" and this works.
@akim14 this can be outdated, I had to re-install my OS anyways & so that fixed the problem...

Thank you.
