Bangladesh Islamist politician Kamaruzzaman hanged

An Islamist politician convicted of war crimes during Bangladesh's 1971 war of independence from Pakistan has been hanged at a prison in Dhaka. Mohammad Kamaruzzaman of the Jamaat-e-Islami party was found guilty of genocide by a domestic war crimes tribunal in May 2013. Kamaruzzaman, 62, was convicted of crimes including the killing of at least 120 unarmed farmers. He had refused to seek clemency from Bangladesh's president. Kamaruzzaman was the third most senior figure in Jamaat-e-Islami, an Islamist opposition party. He is the second war crimes suspect in Bangladesh to be executed. In December 2013 Abdul Kader Mullah, assistant secretary general of Jamaat-e-Islami since 2010 and a former editor of an Islamist newspaper, was hanged after being found guilty on five of six counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Milan court shooting: Man kills lawyer, judge and co-defendant

A gunman has killed three people in a shooting spree at the Palace of Justice in Milan in northern Italy. The suspect, Claudio Giardiello, was arrested in a suburb after fleeing the scene on a motorbike. He was reportedly a defendant in a bankruptcy case. He is believed to have shot dead a co-defendant, his former lawyer and a bankruptcy court judge. Earlier reports of a fourth death were proven wrong. The shooting has prompted scrutiny of security measures. Questions are being asked about how Mr Giardiello managed to smuggle a weapon into a well-guarded building, use it several times and escape. The suspect was arrested by carabinieri officers in Vimercate, about 25km (15 miles) north-east of central Milan, near the town of Monza.

South Carolina police charged after black man shot dead

A white South Carolina police officer has been charged with murder after video emerged of him shooting a black man running away from him. State investigators arrested North Charleston police officer Michael Slager on Tuesday after viewing the mobile phone video of the shooting. Authorities say victim Walter Lamer Scott was shot after the officer had already targeted him with a stun gun. The US Department of Justice is set to launch an investigation. "When you're wrong, you're wrong," North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey said, announcing the arrest. "When you make a bad decision, I don't care if you're behind the shield or a citizen on the street, you have to live with that decision." Police officers in the US fatally shoot and kill hundreds of people each year, but only a handful of cases result in the officer facing criminal charges. The incident on Saturday began after Scott's car was stopped for having a broken rear light, local media reported. A video of the incident published by the New York Times shows a brief scuffle before Scott begins running away. The video then shows the officer firing several shots at Scott, who falls to the ground.
The Post and Courier newspaper of Charleston reported that Mr Scott had been arrested about 10 times, mostly for failing to pay child support or show up for court hearings. Mr Scott's brother, Anthony, told the Post and Courier that he believed his brother fled from Mr Slager because he owed child support.

Xiaomi Sells 2 Million Smartphones in a Single Day

Its hard to believe any company other then Apple or Samsung to reach sales this big but Xiaomi did. The company made a whopping 2.08 billion yuan ($335 million) during its annual "Mi Fan Fest" promotion, selling 2.12 million smartphones, 770,000 smart appliances, 247,000 power strips, 208,000 fitness watches, 79,000 wi-fi units and 38,600 smart televisions, according to its official Twitter account.

The Beijing-based company, which just celebrated its fifth anniversary, has been called the Apple of China. Its CEO, Lei Jun, even dons black turtlenecks and blue jeans during some events, similar to what Steve Jobs often wore for Apple product launches. The company is one of the world's top five smartphone makers, and frequently outsells Apple (AAPL, Tech30) in China. Xiaomi is now moving beyond phones, rolling out a suite of products from smart fitness accessories to Go Pro-style cameras.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided officially announced

Here's the plot coming straight out of the description of the trailer.

"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directly follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident, a day when mechanically made citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocents. The year is now 2029, and the golden era of augmentations is over. Mechanically made humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. Crime and acts of terror serve as a thin veil to cover up an overarching conspiracy aimed at controlling the future of mankind."

In addition there is going to be a PC version and it will support DirectX 12 and AMD's TressFX technology. Expect an amazing looking game when it comes to it's PC release.

Activision confirms Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

Here is a sneak at what the game will be about. This information was found in the Call of Duty web page source.

So right off the bat we have Zombies confirmed which is great news but this just seems like a rehash of the "Future Warfare shoot'em up" and seems to be trying to go down the same lines as Advanced Warfare but we will see as more information break out about it.

Witcher 3 25hr speedrun by Dev and New trailer

Witcher dev CD Project Red has revealed to Gamereactor Germany that it took their fastest internal tester 25 hours to speedrun the game. They also stated that it would easily take 100 hours of game in there for regular players, 50 of which is the main story. Along with this pleasing announcement comes a new gameplay trailer for the game.

Then new trailer takes a good look at the gameplay and it looks pretty amazing even though the minimum requirements for this game are extremely high it looks likes it needs them.
