Description:
Useful for testing items before release or before buying.
Can be used to make outfit screenshots for FVAs or DotD recommendations.

Can not enter online servers while mod installed.
To play in tutorial, go to "options" and click on the green button "> play tutorial".

All abilities on 5
All emotes (Both factions)
All durational widgets unlimited (excluding uses widgets)

How to install:
1. Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield Heroes\mods\bfheroes\Objects
2. Make new folder titled "Backup_client".
3. Move file "Items_server.zip" to the new folder.
4. Open downloaded .RAR folder with WinZIP/WinRAR or Explorer.
5. Drag file "DefaultCustomization.xml" into "Items_server.zip" located in your "Objects" folder.
6. Wait for confirmation window (file size issue) and choose "Copy & Replace".

How to uninstall:
1. Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield Heroes\mods\bfheroes\Objects\Backup_client
2. Copy "Items_server.zip" to "Objects" and overwrite.

Mod doesn't need to be updated with new game versions, but if game crashes with mod, request for an update.

You're making a backup of the one in your "Objects" folder and moving the downloaded file into your original one.

The file in the downloaded RAR is basically a modified version of a config file inside the original "Items_server.zip".

It's late where I am, I'm feeling pretty tired so I'll give that a go tomorrow...

I'll give you a quick overview of what's different:

The game has a config file stored in "Items_server" called "DefaultCustomization". It defines the items each faction/class has when it starts out.
It uses very basic HTML coding. Your starter equipment is in tags <equipment></equipment> and show about 4 item IDs.
I have taken a numeric list generator and made a list from 1 to 55.000, quite a lot of digits.
I replace those 4 IDs with each digit from 1 to 55k. This makes the file slow when editing.
The thing that makes the file react slow when putting it inside a clean "Items_server" is the fact that there are about 8 rows of equipment tags in the file, all of which have to be modified.

It's just a knowledge I had from way back in CB, and I recently noticed that this edited file could be used in which-ever version of the game, since the only thing that would change the file's build is if they changed the game's engine.
In updates, this file is always unchanged.

Becouse it would be AMAZING to use online!!!

Back in 2009 and early 2010 it was possible to play with modified files on online servers, but since it's game breaking advantage, it was patched by adding a code of error upon joining any server (Client Contains Invalid Data: 6).

The only use this is for now is to see unreleased content when the blues confirm new items (they usually tell you not to spoil them to the forum, you are allowed to here, on MPGH).
You can also create your dream outfits, make mugshots and post them for Deal of The Day suggestions or as a Fashion Victim Awards entry. But try not to post outfits with opposite faction items.
