This is why it shouldn't be a right to own a firearm.
he's a fuckwit
Not your average fuckboy
Anyone who wants to own a firearm can do what every other civilized country has and apply for a firearm licence.

I think everyone should be taught how to use and maintain a firearm, However it should not be a basic right to be able to own a firearm.
We'll probably agree to disagree on this one. It would depend on how you define basic rights. I obviously don't think just anyone should own a firearm. Like in that news article for instance talking about 3 mentally challenged women... probably wouldn't make responsible gun owners. However the majority of people through proper training, tests, and background check should be able to own guns.
Just like anything in life accidents will happen, and people will misuse them. But then to ban guns outright we should use the same logic with anything else. Cars for instance kill lots of people, and sometimes people intentionally use them to run over others. So we should ban them too, because imagine the lives we'd save.
I should add this quote from Cesare Beccaria as my Sig:
“False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or trifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils, except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes….Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” - Cesare Beccaria
Hey, at least they got rid of one less idiot in the world
