It depends where you want to work . Overall If you want to impress your interviewer i suggest having alot of knowledge on the company as they can ask you questions based on their company. "why do you want to work here?" etc. Be confident, dont say "ummmm" when they ask you a question at an interview, if you're really stuck just ask them "could i have some time to think about that?". Dress nicely if you're just a teenager business casual would be fine, if you're applying at a fast food chain/electronic shop/any retail shop for the love of god do not wear a suit or overdo it. And i suggest doing research about what kind of questions they'd ask you for an interview, you have to be prepared. And don't lie, they'll find out really fast if you're lying about something. Just be confident, smile and answer the interview questions to the best of your ability.

You are not my friend, you are my brother my friend.
Eye contact is one of the biggest things when conversing with your interviewer; and being personable. First impressions last a lifetime like they say so really just do your best to bullshit their questions to the best of your knowledge and you should be ok. In group interviews I was always quick to answer their questions intelligibly and just being kind and courteous to others will go a long way. They don't necessarily care about your experience but rather your willingness to be a great employee. Also I've always never dressed up to any interviews but I've never held a corporate position.

Just be yourself mate. That's the best way to deal with it rather than being someone you don't want just for the low paid job
Briefcase is too much! Recommend a medium or large size laptop bag. It give you that nice look without much exaggeration and an impression of an organised person.
For the rest I have seen people who are willing to work in a certain company. They will naturally do their best. There are no shortcuts or any hard and fast rules on that. I hope you love your occupation!
Good Luck finding one!

wear a strap-on and bring a flavored condom
Well here are some of my tips:
1) ALWAYS ask for a manager. Front end employees don't give a fuck.
2) Dress decent. If you're applying at McDonald's or some shit, a suit is too far. Just don't look dirty, smell pleasant, etc. This is honestly a given.
3) Have a good resume. Have you had prior work experience? Expand it out and make it seem like you're a hard worker. Volunteer hours look really good.
4) If you don't get a call back in a weeks time, go back into the store and talk to the manager again. This shows you're really wanting to work, and I know many people have gotten hired by simply going back.
That's all there is from me. Good luck!
Think outside the box. If they ask you a question with two answers, give them a third answer.
