do you guys always ask for reciept when returning something instore? If you dont have reciept or proof of purchase, can you still return the product and get at least store credit in the store?

There must be a receipt. If the person does not have a receipt on them we check our purchase system for the persons Home address/telephone number and find the transaction (since every transaction is logged if it's above a certain amount).

It might be possible to get past it since most of the time they don't care if it's a cheap product, but if it's above £150 they will check the system and will not be able to refund you if it's not found.
