    YEAR ROUND ALL YEAR

So i recently heard on the news that congress is thinking of having year round school year which means no summer vacation only like 4 days of spring break and like 3 days of christmas vacation

u might think that its retarded and just dismiss what im saying but it could seriously happen
especially since they have a lot of support
from folks who have nothing better to do with their lives

    take a look at this

boards are already taking a look at it

ummm a balanced calendar doesn't look too bad. also it cant apply to college students. College is not a public system, it has its own calendar since it is not paid for by the government.

Congress CAN change that since most colleges are public, because they receive funding from the government.

I could deal with that, of course school would have to start later/end earlier to compensate.

Year round school would affect lives of everyday people. Kids would end up less active during summer. School days most likely would be shortened anyways. Idk if i like this idea but it would help idiots of america.(yes i just called myself an idiot) Everyone knows america is considered the dumbest country.

Plus it could send the government into debt evan further since public schools are funded by the government. The funds of schools would be higher. Taxes may raise. It would be uder chaos to do this.

Not if we spaced out the hours. If they made year round school they would reduce the time of the day school is active. So instead of 8 hours a day of school it might be 7 or 6. Then needed supplies wouldn't increase.

    Arguments for Year Round Education

Students tend to forget a lot during the summer, and shorter vacations might increase retention rates.
Schools that are not being used in the summer are inefficient.
Short breaks can provide time for students to receive enrichment education.
Remediation can occur when it is most needed during the school year.
Students get bored during the long break of summer.
