I'm the exact opposite. I can't concentrate when listening to something with vocals.
I'm personally into Lofi hip hop for working/studying.
I find that music I know all the words to helps me focus far more than new music... Anyone else experience this?
Could be a subconscious thing...
ALSO post study jams!

Theres a really good study playlist on Spotify that I like to use. It has like 500k followers so if you just google it it should come right up!
Try the Deathnote soundtracks. They really help me concentrate. Instrumental only, though.
well, I'm done with college and don't need to study anymore. But when I did, music was too distracting. It demands to be listened to!
I tend to get so involved with music that I can't even focus on most anything else cognitive. This is reduced greatly with unfamiliar songs as I am not sure what to expect in them, but when I know the track I hear every little thing and am unable to do anything else
I ususally just listen to that playlist with the girl doing homework on youtube. Very chill good for studying with a nice energy drink. Perfect for exams. Got my A's on that playlist
Either white noise or nothing for me
