and the risk of getting some fake parts is actually real with aliexpress, wish and gearbest
Have you ever tested made in China hardware? (I mean hardware you buy on gearbest or similar stores)

Do you mean made or sold in China?
China makes a lot of computer parts, you 100% have many in your PC that are from China (although Vietnam and Indonesia also make many).
I hate that today everything comes from China, we outsourced almost all mass-production into Asia. Let's hope we can keep up with our own knowledge economy.
I've bought like 10 unbranded RX470s that were originally from chinese suppliers, and they worked fine. Yeston brand cards have been fine for me as well, I've used a couple of their RX580s without trouble.

You can get a good idea of Chinese computer market in this video. They have everything, even some cheap parts designed especially for mining. Best if you can have a friend in China.

There are two big reasons for that:
1. If are a foreigner and cannot speak Chinese, you become an easy meat for them. They rip you off, price instantly becomes double if they see a foreigner walking in.
2. If you try to get super authentic parts, you will end up spending the same amount of money. On the other hand, you can get equally reliable parts for much cheaper price if you go for local ones or ones that might not be necessarily sealed in a beautiful box.
That is why you need a Chinese friend who is familiar with the market to help you out. Trust me you get same performance and reliability for a much cheaper price.
Even for phones especially Apple iPhones, all the components of are manufactured in China, then sent to the US to be assembled to get an "authentic" iPhone. On the other hand, you can get refurbished or locally assembled iPhones for much cheaper prices. The result is that you have same device with same performance and everything but really cheap.
i always wondered how china computer parts would fair
