IIRC you gotta pretty much jailbreak the video player's OS to allow it to do so. How? I have no clue.
Hello,
I dont know if this is the right place to post but i didnt find any better section.
I just got my W205 200 AMG Petrol last week(my first mercedes as well). I was wondering when i plug in my Iphone or Samsung and listen to music, is there any way i can display the video in my lovely screen ? If yes please let me know. If not please tell me what can i do to configure it. Thanks everyone

No. Unless you install your own screen.
You can't. You need to install a new display on your car
Doubt it. Would be a hazard when driving. Though you may need to look into it more, perhaps elsewhere? ;(

Does it support Apple car play?
If so you can use a jailbreak tweak on IOS to play anything from your device on the screen.
Do note though, that this is very dangerous and isnt an intended function of carplay.
If you really want to watch stuff while driving then just get a tesla![]()
Well as an external option if you don't want to change anything you can use any android tv box either original or fake and plug into your car to mirror your screen. There's a shit ton of options just google
This guy has a good method and it's on a mercedes platform but you be the judge. I recommend you to not do this and keep your eye on the fucking road.
Yes you actually can. You will need to find a shop that specializes in changing up the coding of the software for the car. A guy near me does them for any BMWs. I know it can be done just might be hard.
It is tricky but is possible check some car forums some detailed step by step guides
I would be happy just to play my music not the video while driving that dangerous
It depends, it is illegal in some countries to view video while car is on
