There is no autoban. All bans are manually done by DECA. Majority of the time you are only banned when another player records you and reports you to DECA. DECA may do a wide sweeping ban to weed out RWT mules, and you may be hit in the process.

Send DECA a support email
Depending on your ban reason, different replies here will work better than others. If you were banned for RWT or Duping, there is a very low chance of getting unbanned. If you were banned for using hacks, you usually can get unbanned once or twice. Your results will vary, it is also dependent on the support person you happen to get. Some are more generous than others.
Do not spam them with multiple emails, they can sometimes take three weeks or more to reply! Sending more than two emails will piss them off.
When writing the email, if your offense was serious (multi/rwt/duping) you can say you got hacked and you don't know what happened, you secured your email and you want your email changed so it won't happen again. You'll need some luck too.
HOW TO AVOID GETTING BANNED IN THE FUTURE
Do not use obvious hacks (noclip, ignoring debuffs, etc (see above for full list) in public. You can turn them on when with people you trust not to record and report you. Read the tips in the ban reasons section for specifically how to avoid bans in those scenarios.

THE TYPES OF BANS
- Standard "Account is under maintenance" ban - account is restricted from /char/list url and entering game world.
- The "IP" ban - you can still create accounts and play on unbanned accounts but every account on your IP was banned.
- True IP ban - your IP is restricted from entering the game world, you receive an error message saying "Opps". Accounts on this IP may or may not get banned, avoid playing on this IP.
COMMON BAN REASONS
- Being caught hacking - This is when someone records you using a certain hack and sends a report of you to DECA. Some players do this as a hobby and act like it's a job, so I recommend only using certain hacks when you're with people you trust, and when alone do everything. A list of hacks which can get you banned (there may be more I haven't listed) are as follows: reconnect, ignoring ss debuff shots (ignoring paralyze, stunned, weak, etc - the ones that can disconnect you), noclip, projectile noclip, fullscreen ability range (using ability way past the standard distance). You cannot get banned for the following BUT they may help a case against you if you're using others: autoaim, autonexus, autoloot, autoability, anti-idle timer, hotkey messages (F3 for dying thessal message, etc).
- Fame Exploiting - Do it in private if you can. If you get caught you can get unbanned.
- Gold Accounts - DECA doesn't like these, be on a VPN when using one.
- Multiboxing - Do not multibox in public. If you must, walk your accounts one at a time if you're in nexus (and reconnect when you can).
- RWT - Avoid doing item trades on your home IP. As a buyer: if you're being traded items from someone, give them a t0 trash item in the same trade. If you receive 8 items while giving nothing in return a lot from someone on a different IP, DECA sees that one sided trade as RWT, so be careful on this. As a seller: you should know this already, stay on VPNs.
- Duping - If it's your first offense you have a chance at getting unbanned. If you use a public dupe method, get on a vpn and change your accounts password before doing anything so you have plausible deniability and can claim you got hacked.
