It could be caused by software, not only hardware failiture.
Make sure to check your task manager while playing, what is eating your cpu power and ram.. Isnt it some AV? Or maybe malware?

Do you have the same or different ram sticks?
Check your hardware.If that doesn't work,Try optifine
if your hardware is in good condition, nothing wrong should happen.
what Mhz is your RAM ?
Are you using hdd / ssd ? Try SSD if you havent so
Did install every libraries needed and do you get any errors in log ?
