Never knew about haruhichan
Ha! Come at me, told you! @Predator
Thanks for the info, though half of the post is blocked by your non-existent profile picture, I am glad for the info.
Shouldn't be blocking anymore, and sorry I can't update it.
I stopped streaming anime years ago, I download all of my anime from a private tracker called Animebytes. There's plenty of people using dedicated seedboxes (including me) so the speeds per download can reach upwards to 500MB/s if your internet is solid enough. There's many benefits, especially for older and obscure anime. Besides the general higher quality when you download, most streaming sites tend to upload the first subbed release that's out there. If another sub group comes along years later and rips a bluray release + adds more accurate subs, the streaming site usually won't go out of their way to upload the new version unless it's for a popular anime.
This really shouldn't even be an argument, unless you're 15 and have no money this isn't a thing.
Hard disk space has become DIRT fucking cheap, I have 12TB in my machines right now with 4-5TB of drives just laying around waiting to be used, and all of those are re-cycled from various other uses...you can be a cheap fuck and still be more than fine.
If people aren't torrenting their anime (or pretty much all forms of entertainment) in 2021 they're just doing it wrong, or don't know better (are ignorant).
I've been torrenting since the 2000s...it's not rocket science.
