Stop XTrap from updating - Give Feedback
Hey everyone... Hate XTrap updating and ruining your fun with hacks?
Well here is a temporary solution to stop xtrap from updating and it works.
If you say it doesn't work you fail at life - I tested it on todays update.
*This will only work until a new CrossFire Patch comes out the it must be updated or crossfire won't connect to the server, therefor making it so you can't play crossfire.
Well enough chit chat, here we go.
*Plays some Metallica*
1. Open up your crossfire folder. Right click on crossfire.exe and select "Copy"
2. Open up a new folder and paste crossfire.exe
3. Rename crossfire.exe (In the new folder) to patcher_cf.exe
4. Rename patcher_cf.exe (In crossfire folder) to patcher_cf.original.exe
5. Transfer patcher_cf.exe (In the new folder) to the crossfire folder
6. Load up crossfire like usual and play.
Instead of crossfire and xtrap updating crossfire will just start.
This should work on any system. It does on Vista Home Basic 32bit
