Quite true. See, I always do road trips with friends. My uncle owns a yacht but he's always overseas.

Would have to be 36+ hours and you have to drive through deserts, I have done Brisbane to Melbourne a lot which takes 20-24 hours depending on speed and route It is 4100km from Sydney to Perth..

With quick refuel and rest stops I'd say around about 2 and half days. Took me 4-5 days from Sydney to Darwin.

We do between most states but we have a big fuckin desert in the middle of the country which makes the East West trip a bit more challenging

I am from Brisneyland and do agree with you but you cannot seriously defend Sydney's beaches, Manly and Bondi are just dirty infested shitholes, I wouldn't go there unless I wanted to contract Hepatitis or AIDS, maybe use points of interest like Oxford St, Circular Quay, Darling Harbor
