I'm truly sorry I had to see the day where this would come.
MPGH, I am deeply troubled that I must announce to you all, the death of one of our most beloved members.
Today I learned by contact from this members family that come 11:26 pm on December 15th 2009 the head admin of MPGH, Dave84311, had passed due to fatal injuries.
Dave was on his way to meet up with his family, to discuss an upcoming holiday event they were planning. While driving his motorbike, Dave was met by a vehicle at an intersection while traveling at posted speeds, but Dave did not wear a helmet because it had been stolen earlier by someone at his school. Dave suffered massive head trauma as well as multiple broken bones and bruised organs. When Dave arrived at the hospital his immediate injuries were treated, bleeding and the sort. Dave was put on life support as a precaution and was stabilized. Later tests had been done to assess the severity of Dave's head trauma, after testing doctors had determined that Dave's brain no longer had functionality and was diagnosed as brain dead. Shortly after, Dave's family had come to the decision to remove Dave from life support to fulfill prior wishes expressed by Dave.
I'm not going to lie to you guys, I broke down over the phone with Arun, I've been with MPGH for almost 4 years, Dave's been around to see me survive through a lot of tough times and has been a good friend to me. Dave and I both promised each other what we would go to each others weddings. It looks like I won't get to see that happen.
Under rules established by Dave years ago, the power of seniority comes into play when talking about who retains power at MPGH. Due to Arun's absense, which I predict shall be for a while, I am now under the authority to take control of MPGH until further notice.
I ask each and every member here to be respectful of the situation we have at hand here and to be on their best behavior, we don't need a site full people making life more difficult than it is already. Most importantly I ask the members of this site to remember Dave for all of the positive things he has done, and to keep his family in all of your prayers.
R.I.P. Dave
