[Help]add another form[Solved]

how to add this form to another form?
i mean import the resource or anything so that i can add this form to that form......
help me thx.

I didn't see this question asked, if you want to add the contents of a form to another on load, You can use Parents and Child, Or Visual Inheritance. Visual Inheritance will allow you to "embed the controls" of one form into another.

Sorry, In Visual Basic you can create a parent form and a child form, or multiple parent forms and multiple child forms with their own parents. What that means is the child forms will reside in the parent forms.

These types of applications are called MDI applications (Multiple Document Interfaces)

You can create a MDIparent using Code, Settings or adding a new object then click MDIParentForm.

Visual Inheritance is what occurs when a form inherits the objects/Controls of a form, you can do this with code as well.

There is plenty of documentation over at MSDN.

If you need more specific help, I am sure someone will answer.

create a new project
add 1 Button and change it's text to "New Form"

now now go to Project ---> Add Windows Form and add a new form

double click on the button "New Form" and write this small code

Code:

Dim newform As New Form2() newform.TopLevel = False Me.Controls.Add(newform) newform.Show()

now debug it and see that when you click on the button the second form will appear inside the first

a new form will appear each time you click the button

Do you want to import a form from one project to another one?

You start a new project and want to add Form3 from project XYZ?

You should rephrase your question...and I recommend you to read the posts above before requesting code/tutorial you can c&p.
