Yeah there is no way they'd be getting billions of dollars in taxes, the moment marijuana becomes legal the prices of marijuana will drop and on top of that people would be growing their own shit. If anything HEMP needs to be legalized because that shit is super useful.

Buying more just means buying less frequently. How ever you put it there is no way there would be billions in tax revenue coming in from marijuana, somewhere in the millions is much more likely.

You're not listening to me, tax revenue isn't savings, its how much money you make off of taxing, so what you just quoted still doesn't prove anything. Those savings would come from not having to enforce marijuana related offenses.

thats true but even so we spend 40billion a year on preventing marijuana related offences, with it legal in california, where most pot is grown, it would bring that number down. and if the state uses the money correctly, some good things may happen
