So you just want a sprite? why not use something simple? like a black sprite thats 25% transparent

i suggest you use both. Transparent black then add one of the sprites i have. Add me on msn and ill give ya a cool sprite

GUI isnt everything but make your own..

Well this is the English section but I guess not everyone has perfect Grammar so it doesn't bother me.

create ur menu first then start to worry about sprites, just get a good pic and use the sprite functions created by acid burn i think...
