Never coded before

Im new here and i really wanna learn to code

ive never even looked at C++ or Vb if anyone can point me to some tuts for Beginners thanks guys

go buy a book.

I gotta agree that buying a book is better. You can read it anywhere, take it anywhere. And you are actually supporting these who "wasted" their time creating that book for your to learn.

Noes, I really don't care about you leeching a book if you actually learn from it, I just find C++ Primer ... Err.. Meh. (Can't think of another adjective.)

Yea @whit i never read it in 24hours - no life i read it in about 2-3weeks.

Do not start with visual basic as a first language go with c or c#. C# has better tools readily available aka visual studio. C has cross-platform support so linux and mac are also supported. C# recommended but it depends on what you like best.

Yuea Visual Basics Dont use Visual Studio at All

Visual basic is not a good language to start with. And it is part of the .net framework and therefore does use visual studio. I never said it didn't. However visual basic is not a very widely used language and in most cases is only used by "newbie" coders but does have some very good coders i must admit.
