2600k is about 300-ish now, 2 nvidia 460s 300-ish, 16 gigs of decent ram pushes it all the way to 400-ish and that alone totals 1 grand. Not to mention all the other stuff and the LC he has, afaik

Microcenter has a deal on mobo/cpu combos. You get a crappy mobo that isn't even sli capable... that is for like 300 if you get LUCKY (2500k as well). You can't find a 256 gig REALSSD hd for less than 450. My video cards I got on a super deal, both for 70 USD.

Harddrive not too small either.
