Have a look at a piece of gold jewelry sometime, it's pretty damn close. Most people are so used to the "black ops gold" which is fake as hell. Jus' sayin.

why do you have different colored text for starters?, secondly going over your textures ruins the first idea you had for them, which is the best idea.

That's my lay-out when I make posts. I highlight words with my favorite color purple. It also makes the purple stand out more. (Kinda weird why you start talking about my lay-out it has nothing to do with anything )

I don't make a texture and immediately say it's perfectly what I want!
I always have to change some stuff to make it better like when you make that gold color; darker, more shine, less yellow.

You have to check your textures in-game and if they aren't good enough you edit them again. I'm kinda hard for myself.
