Hello all, This may not be the right section to post this, But there is another tutorial on How not to get scammed here, So I apologize if it's not. I decided why not post a few simple tips on how make a deal go successfully.
***Seller***
Don't sell Pubs - I've seen this happening alot more recently, And have had a few sold to me. Don't sell people public accounts. It can get you a report, And a bad reputation.
Don't Overprice - Make sure whatever your selling is at a reasonable price. If you don't know how much an accounts worth, Check in the Price Checking subforum.
Show Screenshots - Post some screenshots to assure your buyer you really have the item your selling, And that your not just scammer looking for an extra 20 dollars.
Don't Continually Bump Your Thread - Don't continually post in your thread to get it to the top of the section. Rules are, You may bump it every 24 hours. If someone replies between your bump, You may reply again. But don't double post.
Don't Steal Buyers From Other Sellers - How would you like it if you were right about to sell something, And someone else spammed your thread about how he was selling his for cheaper? You wouldn't. So don't do it to others.
***Buyer***
Don't Be a Lowballer - If you know an account is worth more than the price you intend to pay for it, There's no use in even offering your price.
Be Nice - Don't be a jerk to the Sellers. You need them just as much as they need you.
Check for Full Information - Often times, Scammers will sell you the info to an account, (IE, Everything but the email, Or only the User and the Pass.) And take it back using the email. If you want to be fully sure this won't happen, Make sure the account has full information.
Ask for Screenshots - Screenshots don't prove that the seller owns the account, But they are good evidence to show that they do.
***Buyer & Seller***
Check Around - Check and see if the user your dealing with has any vouches or reports. To make sure your not dealing with a scammer, Or to make sure he knows what he's doing.
Be Direct - Make sure you know what your Buying/Recieving from whoever your dealing with.
Use an Official Middle Man - This is a tip I can't stress anymore. USE AN OFFICIAL MIDDLE MAN! Even if the user is trusted.
Don't Steal - This is pretty self explanatory. Don't steal from sellers. Stealing on the internet is no different from stealing in real life. How would you like it if someone stole from you?
If this guide has helped you, Thank/Rep me. Again, I apologize if this is the wrong section, As I was a little confused on which section was the correct one to post this in. Good luck with your deals, Happy, And safe trading.
