Minecraft server hosting.
recently i ofund out that you can host online but i have been looking around and seeing 256 mb vps hosting and i was wondering if this is enough for a server of about 12 people a a time to run?

if you have seen a better deal can yoou post themm plz

thx,
12 people? You need at least 512mb.

I have a good hosting company, PM for details.
Also, hosting Minecraft on a VPS is not recommended.
Get Minecraft hosting.
12 people? If you mean at a time, you would need about 1-2GB, but if you mean about 1-3 people on at a time you need about 512MB.
Do you even have your own server? I've been hosting for more than a year now. For 12 people, on vanilla, you only need 512mb. Unless everyone is walking rapidly in opposite directions and you have a crappy CPU, you don't need 1GB.
When I was hosting my server, I have about 10 people on at a time, bukkit, and like bunch of plugins, and it took about 1.5 GB to run it.
What kind of CPU do you have?
I'm running 47 plugins, 16 people on 1GB with no lag.

But of course, dedicated hosts have beastly CPUs and bandwidth.
Not sure. I used servercraft.co The worst hosting site ever.
OhMyGosh, who are you hosting with?
Servercraft.co is freaking expensive.

I have 1GB for $56 a year. Very rarely there are lag spikes. But the price is worth it
Besides I'm a freshmen this year and I can't afford any more

What's your IGN?
I just make a simple server, close friends only
Make a custom PC server and use that to host minecraft
Some people want to go on without having a computer on all the time. And if it crashes when that person is away from the computer, you will have to wait for them to come back for it to come back up.
naw i want a server hoster because i have sht internet.
@parag0nx9
So again. Thats a shit deal. Try to find another one.

@hexacyanide
