I would get grounded haha. All I hear is my dad going ON and ON about all the prayers he gets, and he told me that if I ever prayed to him ONCE, he would beat me, and make me listen to the whining of the few billion people on Earth praying for stuff.

well depends on what type of existentialism
i go more to the Friedrich Nietzsche area

Although Nietzsche did have his issues with religion and the such, the roots of existentialism that he started weren't quite as extreme as his other philosophical views (read: nihilism) and afaik didn't really deal with religious views. He merely focused more on our material existence or w/e you want to call it

well i could continue but i was only partially into his form on existentialism i also went into Aristotle's "unmoved mover theory"(more metaphysical then existential) more or less that if such a god exists our existence is more or a byproduct of his existence as his is with ours with no control on either side of each others situation.
