Alright I'm having a debate with hood

He says that Rap/Hip-Hop owns Rock/Metal

I am all for rock and metal and enjoy some rap

He hates most rock and metal is a all about rap and if you dont listen to it your apparently a "nerd"

What do you think is better Rap or Rock?

Rap ftw though. Most people dont take the time to listen to the words the rappers are saying and try to categorize all rap when there most likely listening to the wrong artists.

Rap/Hip hop pwns the shit out of anything. And I mean anything.

Rock/metal isn't for me, when my cousin tried to make me listen to a song, I just said, "What the fuck?, What the fuck is that?". I just don't like it.

Metal is good for what it is. It has no sick beats, you cant dance to it, Most girls like rap/hip hop.

I still love rock the most and have tons of Korn, Skindred, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Skillet

When you go to dances they hardly ever play rock. I wonder why
