Not all Americans are so stupid, of course. Do not take it so seriously- stereotypes are everywhere. And the natural envy that other countries would feel towards the world's major power lead to the classical fat and stupid American idea. I know this to be false

On topic: I did not know all of these misconceptions because I didn't even know some theories to begin with. The spider thing and the death fan I have never heard of.
