How to get Notoriety 5 without doing a mission or fighting

No u mug and steal to get to noteriety 5 this guy is right

is it bug? (i mean, was it always like that? I thought from N4 you really had to kills enfos) BTW ye crims are bullshit - It is much harder to get P5 as enfo

Its not a bug. Seriously mugging and driving stolen cars and ram raiding does increas your notoriety even after you reach rank 4.
I believe it was always like this.

mugging, stealing cars, and delivering loot are all missions; so they increase your rank.

This is common sense.

Mugging can get you to N5.

ur a crim ofc it can get u to n5 and if you want to get to n5 even faster get a van and ram in to windows and pick up the stuff on the floor just dont put in the van unless ur broke and u will see that ur left hand yellow bar will rise and the stare will trun yellow and keep doing it and u will get to n5 in no time

I just started playing this game a few days ago... so, what's so good about reaching notoriety 5 besides getting chased and killed by enfs ?
do you get some kind of pk mode for reaching it? :B

If you steal some items, and give it to a npc, then you will get money stored but you dont get itin your bank until you go to a vender. A vedor will give the money to you based on the multiplyeer you have. The higher notoriety you have, the higher the multiplyer for the money is. If you have notoriety 5 you get a 2.0 multiplyeer, getting twice the money. Which is awhy mosy people get high notoriety by mugging.
