After not playing crossfire since March 25th I'm getting a little pissed off. I love the game and our clan just got sponsered before that so I'm a little ticked off about this whole situation. One evening I closed Crossfire and re ran it after I had a bite to eat and it went to the auto patch and then everything disappeared. The X-Trap didn't pop up, neither did the HGW watcher. I have been trying to fix this problem for awhile now and I'm sick of wasting hours doing nothing to help the problem. Whoever fixes this problem i'll reward you with a $10 gocash gamecard. Which is 10,350ZP. So help me now and I'll reward you.

Did you have a hack or anything that could alarm XTrap? Undetected Injector, PhotoCapturer, C++ Program etc ?

1. Delete crossfire completely, redownload, then re-install USING SAFE MODE.
2. Check for virus, disable AV.
3. Check for windows updates.
4. Contact Z8Games if none works.

@Derp No sir. Haven't used neither have seen a hack in my life so impossible.
@leopoldo614 what do you mean safe mode? and have done 2,3 + 4.

Have you tried disabling your anti-virus while running crossfire? Added the crossfire folder to the list of exceptions on your anti-virus?

How To Start Windows 7 in Safe Mode
Spam F8 throughout booting till you reach a certain screen with white text and a black background, with options.
There is a 'safe mode' option. Select 'Safe Mode with Networking'. Wait for it to load, then go to the log on screen, then log on, then you'll be taken to your desktop. Safe Mode is used to fix conflicts that happen with your computer. From there, download CF and install it again. If you have CF already installed, then uninstall it before installing (obviously).

If your in windows 7 or vista, then there is a much simpler way of doing it.
Search "msconfig", then click "boot" bar. Check "safe boot", then minimal should be checked automatically for you. DO NOT CHANGE THIS. Then, click "apply". Then restart your computer, then it should go to safe mode.
In safe mode, you cant do nothing, like practically nothing. In there, you can re-install.

@Logical. Not really helpful , You can back-up important files on your PC and perform a System-Restore

Your in canada, so you have to choose "west coast 1"
I'm sitting in safe mode ( On my other computer ) and i can't access the internet while on safe mode so how am I suppose to re download crossfire then?

I did it leopoldos way.
I just tried to spam f8 when i restarted my PC and nothing seemed to happen.
Nothing popped up.
EDIT: Nevermind, seems like it works now. I'll test this out and tell you the results after words.
