Why are people recommending the 500 series?

Definitely go for the 7850, definitely the best card under at or under $200

Cuz I can run BF3 with Fraps and Livestream and all that shit on ultra w/ a solid 60 fps (locked, probably around 80 fps if i unlock)

Why on earth would you recommend any generation older than the current? It does not make sense. Within a year or so you will be 2 generations behind. And good luck getting a 580 for $200.

well atm i have an 5xxx series, if im going with amd id prefer any 7xxx for under 200$ if there is.
and idk about nvidia, never had them.

And most new Graph Cards are GDDR5, my pc is DDR3... what can i do?
