How to change your FOV! (80)

My first tutorial... Let's Go! - Sorry bad English, I'm Brazilian.

1 - You need to download HxD - Click Here to go to the page.... Go down and do the download of American HxD

2 - Open your HxD. Click "File - Open"

3 - Go to your MW3 Folder (At HxD) "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam apps\Common\Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3" - And select the iw5mp.exe file.

4 - After that, press Ctrl + F (To search) and type that - 00008242 -At "Data Type" you change to "Hexadecimal Value" - When you found this value, change to - 0000A242

5 - Enjoy.

VAC - Unbannable - Use at your own risk.

PS - IF YOU UPDATE YOUR MW3, YOU NEED TO DO ALL AGAIN!

These codes change the value of the FOV, used in the game ... In MW3 you do not have the option to change the FOV whit MW3 Text Files...

Why not just download MW3 FOV Changer. That way your not changing any actual files and it's 100% safe.

This Fov Changer it's Bannable... Many people are getting bannable by this!

I use FOV Changer since it was released, I don't think you'll really get banned by using it.

May I suggest renaming the thread to "How to get banned! (in 80 seconds)"?

Uhm you know there is a mw3 mp fov changer? It is much easier and customizeable. Sorry but I don't really see the point of this

He posted this before the tool was released.

VAC will surely detect the modification of iw5mp, well I'm pretty sure. I run IW5M.

In fact.. VAC doesn't detect this.. A very known Brazilian Youtuber (with over 100.000 subscribers) "teached" this method long ago... And, ofc, he's not banned... I'm not sure of what VAC can detect anymore... cause I also thought this would be detected...
