Not if you disable battleeye there should be an option.
I would like to rent my own server to use scripts and server hacks to make it more fun for people who decide to play on my server. Am I at risk for a battleeye ban even if I whitelist myself? Is anyone currently doing this? I have a lot of questions and I would be starting the server as soon I can get a little more knowledge on the subject.

You should be able to disable BattlEye.
If you mean you want to test out hacks against BattlEye, then there's no way to disable it. Everything you do with BattlEye enabled is bannable, even on your own server.
i heard theres a tool like a server hack thing by darky.hax that hides you from battleye so you can use alot of hacks but dont know so much about it
here i found it https://www.mpgh.net/forum/624-dayz-h...darky-hax.html
and if you do put it on do you mind adding me to the whitelist? XD

1) The server hack doesn't work with the newest battleye version
2) You can't install the server hack on a server you rent
3) Building a server that can run dayz is really expensive
4) Having internet that can host players is really expensive
5) Being connected to the hive takes an application (and money I think)
1. Correct but there is a way I found to make it work
2.false, in the past you could. But with my method u can not use it with a server host
3.false, I run an official server on my home pc & I even told the dev team when I signed up
4. False, I have fios. 50mbps up & down
5. False. All you require are the official files needed to connect to the hive which the dev team give you. And for them to whitelist your ip. No special application or money
I just rented a server at survivalservers.com I should've figured this out first but can I make the server NOCD?
Take off Battleye like every one said, But then if you don't make it password on it alot of hackers will join![]()
You obv don't know that much about computers or dayz servers apparently.
The most I've had at one time is 25 people, and no users reported any issues, nothing but smooth playing. so don't post your opinions acting like they are facts
edit: if the dayz team thought it couldn't handle it, they wouldn't have approved it. need i say more?nope
