i didnt thought neji will die , they are making the manga more shitty by killing "known" naruto friends
A lot of people complain that there aren't ENOUGH deaths and that the show is too "predictable". xD
(Which is dumb anyways, that's like saying the Avengers was predictable because we knew the good guys would win, well, obviously they're going to win, it's HOW it all happens that most people are interested in).
Well its not that its bad that they killed someone, i mean this IS a war. But why on this fight? This fight is pretty much entirely about naruto and kikashi, putting neji's death in there is kind of well......shotty writing?
I mean kishi could have made the last 100 chapters have a single death, they were fighting seperate battles that should have had SOME importance(sadly not), but instead of making the last 100 chapters count towards anything we get this bullshit where neji dies in the DBZ fashion(instead of pushing them out of the way or such they just take the hit full on).
--------------------------------------
In my opinion it was kishi just flinging out a pointless character to die so that he could prolong this fight.
1. It doesn't add shit to the story. Naruto has the same mentality as he had 5, 50, or 100+ chapters ago.
2. Neji hasn't been important since the genin exams so its really like killing off yamcha(especially because neji had no role in this fight either)
3. Neji's death adds 1 chapter to the series, the bad guy sits there going "how does that make you feel" while naruto goes "aw i'm sad".
4. Neji died to an aoe attack. Dear god do you know how pathetic that is? Thats like someone dying to a fireball or something. Its just sad.
5. Adding one death will somehow validate narutards into going "oh look there is a death", like a cannon fodder character dying would justify well over a hundred chapters(2 years) of the series being shit.
