Not trying to get anyone busted or have us all arrested or anything but have any of you actually hacked something other than a game or program?
As for me I hacked a Telecommunications provider company a few years ago by accident (yes accident) because i was fucking around with random IP's in telnet. I had a Telnet IP generator made in perl and every active IP it got i tested in Telnet. (The rest im going to Copy and Paste from the post i made about it from another nameless forum years ago)
Long shit
by using a telnet sniffer i hacked into the ZTE Corp, the IP= 95.57.251.103
the password is really hard, ready? it's.. admin (yes thats right 'admin')
while fucking around i discovered this about the company
ZTE Corporation is a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions operating in more than 140 countries. It offers a wide choice of products ranging from voice, data, multimedia and wireless broadband services. Founded in 1985, ZTE is China’s largest listed telecom equipment company and trades on both the Shenzhen (A share: 000063.SZ) and Hong Kong (H share: 0763.HK) stock exchanges
and in telnet i uncovered this
Longer shit

Bahahah asian in you're closet made me laugh.
once I used fake bank account data to buy In-Game-Shit thats 4 yrs ago
Nothing really. I've used some exploits at school, and various small sites but that isn't really hacking, all you're doing is using a door that was slightly hidden. Other than that, just some brute force cracking and some whitehat shit at work.

I know for a fact that this wasn't you, so please walk away.
A new system in Israel for storing the grades of everyone in many schools over here.. "Mashov"
It was fairly easy.. I used html to find all the passwords and account names, including the teachers that can change my grade at any time
I've created a virtual student and changed his grades to check how safe it is but the teachers account that i used to change the grade was registered and i didn't exactly hack the. -OK, Superass long story short, I can change my grades at any time.

Hang on what? That was in fact me and yes i was a member of HF a few years ago but left due to security reasons. This was a very small hack to my standards and not much had risen from it. (Only two people replied to the post on HF) You say this was a big deal but yet i never heard anything about it. They did however change their IP, i hadent caused any damage to their systems but i DID have root access and could have done worse.
I made my findings public on HF in 2011.
