We all familiar GMZ wrote a second version of its alternative launcher NFS World. He claims to run the game speed up considerably. Instructions
Copy this script to your game installation directory.
Create shortcut on your destop for Launcher.exe
Then go to shortcut properties and in "Target" field add:
Path to nfsw.exe, server name, server location, your mail and password.
For example i have installed NFS World and it's game data (folder Data) in same directory. And my path in target looks like this for european server on Apex
"D:\Games\Need For Speed World\Launcher.exe" "D:\Games\Need For Speed World\Data\nfsw.exe" 94.236.124.241 EU Lion_Smith@jopa.com moiparol
where Lion_Smith@jopa.com - my email and moiparol - my password
If you have installed World with default options your path to game directories should be this
Main game folder (launcher folder)
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Need For Speed World"
And for game data folder (only for Windows 7 and Windows Vista)
like this "C:\ProgramData\EA Games\Need For Speed World"
In Windows XP this folder are
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World and path to nfsw.exe will be C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\nfsw.exe
Wholly path for Apex Server located in Europe must be this
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Need For Speed World" "C:\ProgramData\EA Games\Need For Speed World\nfsw.exe" APEX EU lion_smith@jopa.com moiparol
where you must change only email and password for you own.
P.S. Between parameters/paths should be spaces!!!
After upgrading from EA which happens once a week, once a regular, run the launcher to update the game and then run as before through an alternative! This launcher from GMZ can not update the game. This has both pros and cons. Since the update are a very big change in the game files, this launcher naturally can not run the game. Keep this in mind when updated.

GMZ Launcher: Just double click you are in game. no need to login and wait etc.

I don't have the Electronic Arts folder in C:\ProgramData even if i see the hidden files.. I'm using W7
