At least Twisted Mod is supposed to be getting an update. Funny thing, I had a nice chat with Twisted on a server once a few months back that I kept to myself. He was trying a new version of his mod and told me Terrahax was a stolen and ripped off copy of his work. Apparently it was taken under the guise of "wanting to learn how to code" so Twisted gave him the code. Xeno stole it, altered it a bit and released it, removing the anti-griefing 60-second timer and public message given when someone activates the destroy tile mode. So if anyone's ever wondered why he won't release the source code "under any circumstances" for others to update it, that's why. They'd very quickly discover he stole it.

Well, secret's out now. If you want an update, you'll probably have to use Twisted Mod. Just don't use it to grief and you probably won't be banned from servers.

Regardless of who did what first, Twisted doesn't seem to understand Twisted Mod is written in C#, meaning it can be decompiled. Him "refusing" to not release the source means nothing.

I'm not talking about Twisted refusing, I'm talking about Xeno. Because he used source code without modifying anything except removing Twisted's 60 second .dt command timer and the public broadcast message. In the meantime, Twisted's fixed a few bugs including the "can't place dirt without it overwriting another tile first" thing, stripped about 3000 lines of bad code and streamlined it, and added a pretty kickass projectile thing that spits your chosen projectile out in a pinwheel around you. Really good for things like purification powder if you want to cleanse a lot of Corruption at once.

As for the virus scan thing... Jesus. I don't usually like to insult people, but honestly, pull your heads out of your asses. They're text files. Just because it is a rule doesn't mean that

1) it can't be bent when it isn't needed and
2) it isn't completely fucking stupid

I guess "when applicable" doesn't mean anything to some people.

Whatever, the infraction will be worth it. If that will make you feel like you showed me, you go ahead.

I'm not defending Xeno or saying he did/didn't steal it. I have no idea, never talked to either of them.

I'm not worried about it, that's what you get when mods that rather abuse their power then actually look into a situation and see what the rule states. I'm used to it with sites like this, majority of the staff is under 18, and power interested in using their powers as much as possible for their e-peen

The intention of my post was to show that it doesn't matter what Twisted wants to do with his src (whether it be keep it private or public) because its written in .NET and is entirely unprotected. So anyone can get it if they want it.

Am i the only one when i use my d key i fall through the map slowly? also left key does it rarely and up and space combo makes me fall fast through the world

I think i have a fix for all of the people falling through the floor now if iv done it right its windows 8 my friends have windows 7 i gave them a crack i made and terrahax theirs worked fine but mine didn't and that was because of windows 8 or the mods incompatibility with windows 8. there are two things i would do now and that would be either to wait until the update (where terrahax gets patched or gets updated) or try using a virtual machine (a program that makes a copy of everything and reconfigures it to be windows 7, i dont know how to do this myself but hopefully i will soon) Good look everyone running windows 8! cause that's the problem

It's not Windows 8 that's the issue; I use 7 on both my laptop and desktop computers. The client works fine on the laptop but when I try using it on my desktop, I get the floor falling bug.

UPDATE: I can confirm that it's the .NET version you run on. I downgraded mine from 4.5 to 4 and it's fixed the issue.
