Payday 2 Beta: Post-Update #2 All Skill Hack

So, i accidentally saved over my level 30, so now I don't really feel like playing until the new patch. To help them along with patching it, I'm releasing how to modify skill points.

Step 1: Have access to a skill that requires 8 points. Makes your job a lot easier.
Step 2: Go to the skill menu and respec EVERY TREE.
Step 3: Pick a tree, any tree, and level it until you get to a skill that requires 8 points to ace. Buy the base, but not the ace.
Step 4: Open CE and attach it to payday 2. Set it to look for float, rounded default.
Step 5: Search for 8. You'll come up with anywhere between 6 and 13 thousand addresses. backing out of the skill menu then going back in will usually bring it down to 6000.

----Step 5 Revision: Mk, so for whatever reason, im getting different numbers for my results now. I suggest going with what Theman706 did and search for 8.0000. You'll get 12x less results, making this much easier. if you do this, skip to step 7.

Step 6: Scroll a little less than halfway down the results list. You should be about 2500-3000.
Step 7: Start adding whole number addresses to your address list. Do this whatever way you like. (Ctrl+click, Ctrl+shift+click, w/e)
Step 8: You'll come across a large cluster of non-whole numbers. I mean REALLY large. This means you can stop qadding addresses.
Step 9: Change all the addresses to a 1. This is just to make sure it works.
Step 10: Go back to the game. Move away from the skill you chose earlier, and go back to it. It SHOULD require only 1 skill point. (If it doesn't, then try adding a couple hundred addresses before/after the marks I mentioned earlier.)
Step 11: Change the addresses to a negative number of your choice. Preferably -450.
Step 12: Make sure that the skill shows that it requires negative however many points you chose and buy it.
Step 13: you now have a lot of skill points! hurray!... But we're not done yet.
Step 14: Save and exit the game.
Step 15: Open the game again.
Step 16: Go to your skills and in 2 trees of your choosing, fill up. You won't be able to fill one because it requires you to put in way more skill points than humanly possible. We'll fix that in a sec.
Step 17: In the final skill tree, the one thats not bugged, but the one you havent filled yet, you're going to fill it up, except for ONE skill at the top which you have to refrain from acing.
Step 18: Once the tree is filled up except for that one un-aced skill, you're going to respec the bugged tree. You will now have negative skill points.
Step 19: Back in the skill tree with the unaced skill, you're going to edit your skill points again. Except this time, you're going to try to get out of negative. You want to edit your skill points so you can get out of negative, while also filling up the final tree. Take the amount of skill points you have, find how many it takes to get to 0, then add 150. thats what you need to set it to, except negative.
Step 20: After editing your skill points again, buy the un-aced skill which should cost negative whatever. Now you have 3 full trees!.
Step 21: Save the game and exit. Close CE if you'd like.
Step 22: Open the game, go to your skills, and fill up your last skill tree. Congrats, you have all the skills.

Thanks so much dude! I only came up with a cheat that let me get all skills till the 4th stage. It worked on the principal that a skill is activated (1) and Aced (2) so I skilled them, found their values and changed them to 2 (aced) but this is Waaaayyy better! Oh and if you only want 8 type in the value box 8.0000!

I have a problem
whenever I try to put in the negative value, it shows that it works but directly after payday crashes.

To prevent crashing I take a few values, change them, look if the skill value changed. If it didn't I revert them and then delete them
I do thath a bunch of times and viola, it works!



Well it started out with somebody on the CE forum saying he can change the value a bit around and then I noticed the post about hte booleans (from the guy, who unlocked every weapon) A bolean is basically in VERY simple terms. Here 1 is on 0 is off and 2 is Aced. So I searched 0, then skilled, searched 1, then skilled searched 2. Found the value, reskill and change the value back to 2, but I didn't have enough skill points, for the last 2 stages of the tree, to ace them, so I kinda was stuck at stage 4. and all skills have similar Addresses for example every "skill" address starts with 18EC and then four digits behind it, it changes anyway because of memory, so I was able to get a few 5th level perks.

Can someone help me because whenver i do the search for 8.0000 It works with the chaning to 1 points but when i change to -450 i go into game and it crashes any fixes ?

Someone, please make a video tutorial, as mine seems not to work, i get around 16-19k values and when i go in and out it looses like 500 values andb then i just do it for a while and it wont work

i'don't now.. save file plzzzzzz

I did it and it only did it visually and locked down all skills, i tried to respec, and i got my old amount back, if anyone posts a save with it, will get my thanks atleast, (not litteraly, on the mpgh rep system)
