Hmm windows 8 is design for touch screen.. That's why majority of new comp and tablet comes with touch screen nowadays.. Nevertheless I still like windows 8 without the touch screen cuz I really like all the new features.. It just takes sometime to get used to that's all

Windows 8 is much better than windows 7 for me, it starts alot faster no lagg issues and i dont even really have to use the GUI,
I only use this part of windows 8 the most as replacement for the start button

Personally i like 8, but the upgrade is supposedly bad for coders and graphic designers. Not to mention you should have a touch screen, other wise it sucks

Windows 7 had the best glass, the best ui look, hell even the start button was more useful than that... metro design in windows 8.
